Start with Preschoolers!

Why?

Preschoolers love to sing, easily soak up information, and are adorable.

Even if it’s just a few kids, people will love them and they will have fun.

We want littles to start understanding worship from the earliest possible. Preschoolers are capable of praising God AND understanding what that means. So, preschoolers are a great place to start. If you have less than five kids in that age range, add kindergarteners.

Sometimes (especially during budget meetings!) there is a disconnect between KidMin and adult ministries. What you don’t see, you don’t know. a Preschool KidMin choir is a great way to introduce the adults in your congregation to the work being done in kids’ ministry. And preschoolers will be super cute even if they don’t do everything perfectly.

Preschool KidMin choir is a great place to start and build. You, or whoever you choose to lead, will gain confidence and skills with a very non-threatening group of littles. The following year, you can add another age group. The littles will move up, and new littles will come in, feeding your KidMin choir pipeline for years.
